Jædaren. Jærien. Jærifornia. Jærwaii. Jærahuopoo. Jæriceira. Jæra Cruz. Jærgaret River. Jærdonesia. Jæra Rica. Jærtugal. Jærgarden. Ja, kjært barn har mange navn (selv om kanskje de fleste av disse ikke er blant dem), og desto flere steder å surfe.**Enten du foretrekker bølger som bryter på sandbunn, point breaks til høyre og venstre, slabs, lange vegger, heftige closeouts eller bare bølger generelt sett – Jæren er stedet. Her vaser folk rundt med brett under armen, neopren grodd fast i huden, ja det ryktes at noen av surferne er i ferd med å utvikle gjeller. Hjem til medieimperiet Reve Allstars, lekeplassen til Frode Goa og bølgesikkert som fy. Med så mange spots samlet på et såpass lite område er det som regel noe å surfe.
